Adventures in Cheese Making

What more could we want on the farm, we had fiber, eggs, veggies? MILK! After much research and discovery, we decided to add a Nubian doeling to our herd for a future milk supply. We brought home Cassia, from 8 Mile Acres, my parent's farm. She is now being raised with the pygora doelings that we have retained and she is slowly being accepted into the herd. While it will be a year before she will give us milk, we have the opportunity to milk and make cheese from Cassi's dam's supply. Lizzy is a very sweet doe and so easy to milk. I honestly, wasn't sure that I would like goats milk & cheese, but I do! I LOVE it!
